I Think this is a great idea and all, but if I were you I would make a trapper and start trapping some of those teuton that are attacking you. They will probably attack you early and so you should capture them before they get any defence troops that they don’t want to attack with. You will get TTs much faster with the extra income of the teutons you’ll be farming and once you get TTs, they will kill the spears that the teatons haven’t been able to build because of all their loss of resources. You would take control of your area in seconds! Also, I would upgrade your resource tiles higher, like maybe 1 a day after you have finished a majority of the quests. Maybe not the all to 5 one but close. I will be sure to use this in the 2012 championships. If anyone is going there leave a post in this cause I would love to go to the championships with some friends!

Hey i just thought id say thanks for posting this, day one with less than 15 clubs i managed to get scouts to start farming where the resources really are!

Well that was good guide, and right. However I think that if you are going to be great player, feared by your enemies and praised by allied players, you should ignore farm messages since you will get more resources by farming them than they could legitly send you through market place, and so on to every “I/allianced player is gonna destroy your village with huge army with catas and chiefs” should not taken seriosly since if you have organized your playing fully and using gold and night sitters, you should be close to top rankings and enough army to counter their attacks if there comes any =)

thanks for the tips!

i want to include this guide also, cause i dod it on 1 normal server and 2 speed servers with gauls and it worked perfectly .

( for experienced players ) i dont really go through all the details

based on my experience.

Find a newly started seed server, if your more than 1 week late this might not work.

now register.

day 1: complete the task quest
day 2: complete task quest and when done upgrade resource tiles
day 3: build crany to level 10 and start building another crany
day 4: complete crany to level 10. and upgrade warehouse and granery to level 4
day 5: upgrade resource tiles only
day 6: upgrade resource tiles only
day 7: upgrade resource tiles only
day 8: upgrade resource tiles only
day 9: build a barracks and upgarde to level 10 and upgrade some crop
day 10: upgarde some crop if needed then sped all resources onphalanx
day 11: keep training phalanx until you have like 200 then upgarde resource tiles
(no one would realy want to attack you even if its a teuton with 500 clubs)
( keep you village free of scouts, couse u want your kapponnt to see your troops to scare him off
couse he wont have a big ammount of troops a teuton moght have 700 clubs but still he wont attacks you.)
day 12: upgarde min building to level 10 and upgrade accademy and build the stable to level 5
( you can now start destroying your cranies. ) try to find a good alliance and join it. (upgrade your warehouse and granery every day if u need)

Keep like this sequence till day 20 and you should have a extremely high resource production and
more than 1000 phalanx.

1.one thats done upgarde residence and get 3 settlers and settle in a near 15c or 9c.

2. spend all resources on building crop fileds in village 2
keep upgradeing all crop fields to level 5.
( at that time it would be ok to have some negative crop in village 1.couse you can supply v1 from v2.)

make more phalanx and upgrade your crop ( till you have 2000 phalanx total)

now that u have a good deff. you can start makeing off troops. go ahead and upgrade barrack to level 15 and stable to level 10. and start training TT’s and swordsmen till you have about 2k swords men and 1k TT’s ( upgarde their streangth in blacksmith.)

now you can hurt a teuton badly when attacking him.

clear out a strong teuton and strat raiding him.

clear out more teutons.

just for a heads up train as many scouts as you can in your village and be sure to send couple of fakes to you target before attacking him a true attacks. you target wont expect much from you but he will be stunned soon after getting attacked.

That was the best tips I read so far.

I played on about 7 months old server and I has many disadvantage.

What should I do when I am raided by greater troops which I don’t have a chance of defending or worst get catapult?

I scared me into a cool feet.

I hope I didn’t make mistakes in writing.

The first day I entered Travian homepage I didn’t know that Travian is a browser based game, that is played by thousands of players, your main objective is build a secured town with many villages under it, extend all the resources. Upgrade everything to the newest pattern earn gold and silvers and utilize it when neccessary and your hero’s health has meaning because if your hero’s health run down to 0% it means your hero is dead and you will have to regenerate him

production of 8000 each
4000 imperians
3000 legions
500 horses

this is ofcourse speed 3x

just started to play travian in my entire life
pickin up roman.. it was pretty easy, maybe it’s because the new server, 16 days old..
i got a neighborhood, he’s also a roman, and we both rule the 8 x 8, except two villages which we dont have the courage to raid em..

but Im lacking on resources…
any idea?
i farm every 1 hour with low res from my neighbors..
Im online for most of my time..
still low on res
