Earn free travian gold writing an article
You can possibly earn some gold by writing a quality article for this website. A lot of travian players don’t want to spend real money buying gold for the game, so I thought this might be a good way for people to earn some gold for their accounts. I don’t think the .com servers offer it at this point, but several other servers give players a referral link they can have other people sign up through so that they earn free gold. What I’ve seen is that it’s 20 gold once the player that signed up through your link reaches 75 population on a normal server, and 250 population on a speed server.
If you would like to write an article for this site, I will give you the chance to put up this referral link at the bottom of the site and give you a chance to earn gold for free this way. The article can be on any subject related to Travian, but preferably something you have decent knowledge about and that differ somewhat from what’s here already. This is no guarantee for gold at all, but if you’d enjoy sharing your travian knowledge with other you’ve got nothing to loose at least. The player starts as a leader of a small village with two people. The village has one building, which is the main building, and around the village lie 18 fields each providing one of the resources iron, crop, clay, or lumber. Troops can be produced once a player has built a barracks and a rally point. More troops are available after the player has built an academy where troops are researched. These troops can either be used to attack villages, often in order to steal or raid resources, or to defend against Teuton, Roman or Gaul troops attacking. Once the player has fulfilled certain criteria, they can found other villages or conquer those of an enemy with a tribal leader.
The aim of the game is to increase population and to control as many villages as possible. After a certain amount of time, further buildings and concepts are introduced, namely the introduction of the wonders of the world. The game ends when a player has finished constructing the world wonder to level 100 in a Natar village.
Each player when joining an alliance, groups of players, earns points for raiding (thieving), attacking, and defending. These points make up an appropriate rank system, but also promote the alliance one is in.
There are four tribes of which only three are available to players, the Romans, the Gauls, and the Teutons. Each has their own characteristics and an appropriate style of play: the Romans having a balanced set of attributes, the Gauls being largely defensive, and the Teutons geared towards a more aggressive style. The fourth tribe, the Natars are computer controlled, the Natars enjoy many benefits normal tribes don’t but only come into the game as part of the end game sequence.

Gual strategy
If you are a gual the best thing to do first is to make your resources big and then make meny,meny traps so if eny bodi atacks you you will be safe and then you can atack him whil his army is in your prison(traps)!If you are attacked and you now you don’t stand a chansh,it would be smarty to send your resourses like you are tradeing them and do noth make an army,make your crannyes biger at level 10 and make adleast 3 of them!!!Then you make a army!!!

agood strategy for evryone that is being attacked and cant stand it!!!
i think this is a a strategy better for speed servers
if ur attacked all the time and ucant stand it i think this is the best thing to do:
1.build 3 crannies lvl 10 if gouls 2 crranies
2. lvl up main building to lvl 5
3.build up resourses to about lvl 6-7
4.build onther 4-5 crannies if gauls then 2
5.build resedince lvl 10
6.make 3 setlers and allways send them so they dont get killed!!!
7.make anew village realy far like (300\-300)
8.and from there just build up resourses and build Infrastructure and more cities

When you start in this game you have to do 22 tasks from the chief of the town. He gives you resources of each task you do and sometimes gold of how far you are in the tasks. After you complete all of the tasks you get more gold from the chief. Once the chief is gone on the village overview you have a couple days of beginners protection so no one can attack you. In the village you have lumber, clay, iron, and crop. You have to upgrade your fields so you can have a higher population. If you upgrade too much of your lumber, clay, and iron and you don’t upgrade your crop you will have a negative production of crop. Your crop will be decreasing each hour. Other people can attack you when your beginners protection is over. You need to build troops in the village town. You can build them by the barracks. You have to build things in the village town so your pop can go up higher. You can be in an alliance with people of start your own alliance. To start your own alliance you need to have a embassy level 3. But to join a alliance you need to have a embassy of at least a level 1. You can send out attacks on other towns from when you make your troops from the barracks. When you make another alliance you need a palace or a residence level 10 and experience of 3000 points. There are a normal town, 9 cropper, and a 15 cropper. The game never ends unless the attackers are sent out which are 300 days after the game has started. The tribes are Gauls, Romans, and Teutons. The Gauls and Romans can only carry 750 resources per merchant. The Teutons can carry 1000 resources. The merchants are people who carry resources to a town or trades with another town.

Wonder why people say such things???Well its simple,its just really addicting…Just like all games,it takes time to understand this game…But if your really determine and willing to play,then consider it “The game that suits you”…Especially for those who are really bored in their office work,u just need to click,type,chat and etc…Yes!!!U can do a lot of things in the world of travian and the story line is great!!!About three tribes(The Romans-They are good at offense and defense,Gauls-The best tribe for defense,they are also the best cavaliers,and Teutons-The most aggressive tribe,they fear nothing even death) who will soon battle a NPC tribe “The Natars”(The most Powerful and Feared by those who aren’t prepared)The Natars have enslaved the Teutons and Gauls many years ago until the Romans came and set them free…Now the Teutons and Gauls are free tribes now.But ten months later,the Natar will come back and will try to dominate all tribes again…

i think it was the most brutal server i’ve ever seen than other server..
my stroy begins when my brother invite me to join s1.travian.com.my
.. after the hard standing situation.. i had create few village more and succeed .
until i change my alliance, my village had been destroyed one,then another and another..
i survive the multiple wave but i had lost my village(s) ..
as you knew, i am actually addicted to Travian and i stood still until i join ‘safer’ alliance..
Natar has come, and they(the players) are rushing up building World Wonder ..
there is merging of big alliance(s) .. and i feel very small in travian world..
join me and had a beautifull malaysian brutal culture ..

here is a guide for farming people:
1> Focus on farming all inactives in range twice a day
2> Never leave your army sitting at home, an army at home goes to waste.
3> Avoid fights with players who have a real army
4> Your goal is to only hit those who can’t defend themselves
5> Never listen to IGM’s from your farms because they are your resource fields. And also, Don’t destroy them you want to have someone to farm remember
6> Use diplomacy to work towards joining a decent alliance
7> Once you are accepted a real alliance your empire becomes much stronger
8> Remember, too many allies means less farms.
9> Your resources should never be empty while your at the computer, and your warehouse should never fill up while your away, if it does, make it bigger or play more often!
10> Raid non-stop, when your army is at home its being wasted. you should be trying to create a buffer zone around your capital making it difficult for anyone to invade your capital.

What does Travian do to our lives?
I’m a travian player, and I’m in a clan.
we were thinking about attacking to another clan.
when our leader called the other clan’s leader, he said that: “Please, don’t do it. Everyday that I wake up, before going to work, I check my travian account. It has taken my whole life from me and I’m spending most of my time on it.”
our clan power is not the matter here (we’re not so powerful), the matter is what role really travian play in our lives?
In our country (Iran) it’s really owning over 29,000 lives, there are 29,802 players in the 7th server.
you can see any kind of people there, from 10 year boys to some important companies chiefs.
In our first server we were just hoping that the server doesn’t go to an end without a winner, hundreds of people were working 24 hours a day to improve their wonders, using their hammers, defending their empires to see that they can overcome on the illusionistic enemy. And they’ve done it properly.
And now iran has just begun the 8th server.
What does travian really have that cause this kind of attraction?
you have no border here for your power, you must fight for your glory and for your empire, and one of the most things in our servers is the social communication that grow based on travian, when you see the unity between the members of a clan, you can say: “YES! That’s what we’re looking for in this place beside the fun”.
Travian learns us on our first server that unity between friends and helping each other (without considering differences in age, rank, or etc.) is the key to the victory, to the glory. And this is the way to defeat enemies.
It’s learning us fighting for glory against any powerful enemy in the real world.
And at last I can just say thanks to travian for learning us such things in a fun and pleasant way.

Some hints for beginners are:
1. Gauls are the easiest to play
2. Don’t research things if you’re getting attacked
3. Complete all the tasks.
4. Build a trapper, which is good early in the game.
5. Later in your game, trappers are useless.
6. Try to have a Theutates Thunder hero.
7. Resource productions are important.
8. Theutates Thunders are excellent raiders, but not that good for attacking.
9. Have a high-leveled palisade.
10. When you get settlers, make sure you’re resource productions are higher than 200.

The first day I entered Travian homepage I didn’t know that Travian is a browser based game, that is played by thousands of players, your main objective is build a secured town with many villages under it, extend all the resources. Upgrade everything to the newest pattern earn gold and silvers and utilize it when neccessary and your hero’s health has meaning because if your hero’s health run down to 0% it means your hero is dead and you will have to regenerate him
